The Kingdom of Pruzzina

Welcome to the Kingdom of Pruzzina, a land in medieval Europe that only exists in the hearts of those who might wish that the era of chivalrous knights, honorable men, and humble heroes had not come to an end, or those that still have hope that such could be back again today, if only we looked hard enough to find it.

To describe it, I invite its sovereign to give you a brief tour:

“You should see the rich, green jewels of our extensive woodlands. There is nothing more beautiful than the singing of the evening breeze through our forests, interspersed with the jubilant songs of birds of every size and color. Shall I mention also our emerald hills, rich with lakes, life-giving streams and fruitful vineyards on its more inaccessible slopes? What about the towering rock walls of our high mountain ranges? Harsh at first glance, perhaps, yet to be found in its gorges, fantastic waterfalls, of a beauty so great that fairy tales have been woven around them. Did I mention the majestic fields of standing grain, gentle waves of amber in the summer winds? Shall I tell of our coastlines? Rocky, forbidding, yet steadfast and true, as its inhabitants themselves.”

Pruzzina is a vast kingdom with a long history and interesting people. Whether you want to read about its first sovereign, King Eduard and his struggle to build a new kingdom from the ashes of war, or the brave mountaineers who guard merchant trains during their perilous journey through the wilderness, or about its queen who ascended Pruzzina’s throne after her half-brother was assassinated, you will find a book or series of books that will immerse you into this fabled world.
